Yeah but many do not know the Permalinks are our friends, after making the post with 5 things that should change in your wordpress blog I have received some emails with queries regarding what the best options when it comes to Permalinks and to end this doubt the best option is /% category% /% postname% /.
I currently use only /% postname% / however I have been informed and the best are the same /% category% /% postname% / in the options of wordpress is not that option but I found a plugin that comes easier to work and will help us optimize the SEO blog.

The permalinks properly configured can bring more visitors, more traffic, is more user friendly, more SEO friendly, can you better position your blog on google and other search engines, better position for some keywords especially if you use /% category% /% postname% /, will influence the pagerank.
Therefore I strongly recommend you configure your permalinks.

Yes ... I had seen on other blogs talking about it ... and really put the date does not seem very nice.
My blog was so, but I changed the options ... I installed the plugin and did the migration. I just hope it does not bring indexing problem with Google!

I use a very simple permalinks, just so that it appears the name of the post. I think that keeping things simple and clean is easier to achieve indexing.
From what I saw you use the /% postname% to like me, very good option.
